Default My necro doesn't know it's destiny!

Hey guys

I have a lvl20 Necro/Ele just arrived at the Crystal desert and I am little lost as what to do with him. I have tried Blood reaping with some success early on, but was put off by a a couple of warriors complaining that I was doing all the tanking and leaving them unemployed! and have also tried MMing but am struggling a little in the desert. I am always trying different builds and am also considering a secondary change.

My main aim in the game is to do all quests/missions and some farming as I do with my other chars.

What would others recommend as the best Necro type for Desert quests/missions which would subsequently help in the latter parts of prophicies?

It is destiny?

Since you're just at the desert, you don't have Spiteful Spirit yet, which is the bread and butter spell for necromancers in the latter part of Prophecies.

I would stick with the Blood build you're using now or switching to a minion master, which is very, very helpful in the desert missions given the abundance of bodies available. You should basically be support damage at this point (while casting the occasional Blood Ritual on your monks/casters). That will change once you get Spiteful Spirit, as you'll become one of the main damage dealers at that point.

Yea, I ran MM until I got the Spiteful Spirit. Now though I got builds for MM, SS, Extreme Degen, Orders, Battery and I am working on a build I saw on gwGuru called Soul Barbs.

I never tried MM until I was in Hell's Precepice.

In the Desert, I was Blood + Curse or Blood + Illusion (N/Me). The odd time I'd go with Blood + Domination.
